Share the Product :

It is an acrylic polymer-based, single-component, quartz grained plaster primer that increases the adherence and working time of the surface before the application of cement or gypsum-based plasters for exposed concrete surfaces.

Usage areas:

•Indoors and outdoors

• In horizontal and vertical applications and ceilings.

•As an adherence enhancing primer before cement or gypsum based plaster mortars on exposed concrete surfaces.

•Protecting water absorbent surfaces such as gypsum-plaster, gypsum-cardboard plaque, aerated concrete, chipboard, briquette from moisture.

•As an adherence enhancing primer before ceiling plasters.

•It is used to increase adherence before applications on old surfaces.

Advantages:

•It is water based, odorless and can be used safely indoors.

•Provides high adherence.

•It increases the working time and workability of cement and gypsum based plasters.

•It prevents rapid water loss of the mortar by being applied before cement and plaster based coatings to be applied to absorbent surfaces.

•Provides resistance against moisture.

•It is colorful and provides ease of application.

Preparation of the Surface:

•Make sure that the application surface is cured.

•The application surface must be clean from substances that prevent adhesion such as dust, oil, tar, pitch, paint, silicone, curing material, detergent and mold oils.

Application Information:

•12 kg DEMAFIX Exposed Concrete Primer should be diluted in its bucket by adding 2 - 3 liters of water and mixed with a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

• Diluted DEMAFIX should be applied to the surface in a single layer with a textured roller.

Dries within 60 - 90 minutes after application . After 24 hours, cement or gypsum based plasters can be applied.

Consumption:

150 - 250 g/m2 (Varies depending on the absorbency and roughness of the application surface.)

Attention:

•Avoid application in areas that are frozen, at risk of freezing within 24 hours, or exposed to direct sun and wind.

•Mix the product at regular intervals during operation to prevent the quartz aggregate from settling to the bottom.
