It is an epoxy resin-based, two-component, ready-made epoxy adhesive mortar with high adhesion strength, resistant to chemicals and bacteria, easy to apply, can be cleaned with water, has reduced slip properties and has a long working time.

•It is used for adhesion of materials such as tiles, ceramics, marble, granite, acid-resistant ceramics, porcelain ceramics, glass mosaic and glass bricks to be used in the above-mentioned places, on surfaces such as concrete, plaster and metal.

Preparation of the Surface:

•If the application surface is concrete or plaster, it must be cured; if it is metal, it must be cleaned of rust and oil.

•The application surface must be clean of anti-adhesion substances such as dust, oil, tar, pitch, paint, silicone, curing material, detergent and mold oils.

•The surface is dry, sound and level; The humidity of the surface should be below 4% .

Mixture:

•DEMAFIX EPOXY BASED MARBLE GRANITE ADHESIVE is packaged in two components in appropriate quantities. 1.0 kg of component B (hardener) should be added onto 4 kg of component A (epoxy resin) and mixed for at least 3 minutes with a drill with a mixing tip at 400 - 600 rpm. Component B (hardener) is in the packaging of component A (epoxy resin).

•Components are packaged in correct mixing proportions. If a portion of the product will be used, this ratio should be taken into consideration.

Application Information:

•DEMAFIX Epoxy Based Marble Granite Adhesive is applied in principle like cement-based ceramic adhesives.

•DEMAFIX Epoxy Based Marble Granite Adhesive is applied with a suitable notched trowel selected according to the size of the ceramic to be bonded, to obtain a thickness of 2 mm. A comb with minimum 4 mm teeth is used.

•A contact layer is formed by pressing the flat side of the trowel on the application surface to be applied to heavy load areas, and the epoxy mixture is immediately placed for notched trowel application, pulled with a comb, and the ceramics are adhered.

•Gluing should never be done on the product that has started to dry.

•Joint grout application after 1 day. Epoxy Based Joint Filler should be used in joint filling application. 

Consumption:

1.70 kg/m2 (for 1 mm thickness)

Attention:

•Avoid applying the product at air temperatures below +10°C and above +20°C.

•DEMAFIX EPOXY BASED MARBLE GRANITE ADHESIVE should be mixed with a suitable mixing drill. It should never be mixed by hand or trowel.

•Working and hardening times of epoxy resin based products depend on the ambient and ground temperature. Since viscosity increases at low temperatures, the consumption amount also increases. The chemical reaction slows down, thus pot life and working time are extended. At high temperatures, the opposite situation occurs.

•Avoid application in areas that are frozen, at risk of freezing within 24 hours, or exposed to direct sun and wind.

•After the application, it should not be touched for at least 24 hours and water contact should be avoided for 48 hours.

PACKAGING:

In set tin cans of 4.16 kg (A+B)

Shelf life:

It can be stored for 12 months in a cool and dry environment in its unopened package between +10°C and +30°C.

Protect against freezing.

Health and Safety:

As with all chemical products, contact with food products, skin, eyes and mouth should not be avoided during use and storage. In case of contact, wash immediately with plenty of water and soap, and if swallowed, seek medical advice immediately. During application, work clothes, protective gloves, glasses and masks in accordance with occupational and worker health rules should be used.

Food and beverage materials should not be brought into application areas. Do not approach storage and application areas with fire. Application areas should be ventilated. It should be stored in places inaccessible to children.
