It is an epoxy resin-based, two-component primer used on metal surfaces. It is used as the first coat of primer on steel surfaces where good surface preparation has not been made or on steel surfaces that have been blasted.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Surface Preparation;

• The surface to be applied must be solid, dry, clean and free of loose parts.

• Dirty, dusty, swollen and old painted surfaces should be cleaned by scraping and surface defects should be corrected.

Preparation of the Mixture;

• The product is diluted with 10-15% epoxy thinner. (If applied with a spray gun)

• Do not mix the paint with another brand of paint.

• The life of the mixture is 2 hours at 23±2 °C.

• MIXING RATIO:

Dema Solvent Epoxy Primer A Component: 4 units

Dema Solvent Epoxy Primer B Component: 1 unit

• It should be mixed until it becomes a homogeneous mixture.

APPLICATION;

• It should be applied to the surface in 2 layers using a roller, brush or spraying.

• You should wait 3-4 hours between coats.

• During application, care should be taken to ensure that the surface and ambient temperature is between 5 and 35 °C. 

Consumption;

• An area of ​​5 m2 can be painted in a single coat with 1 kg of paint.

STORAGE CONDITIONS 

• The shelf life is 12 months at room temperature in its original, unopened package.

• It should be stored in a cool and dry environment, away from direct sunlight and protected from frost.

• Pallets should not be stacked on top of each other and should be shipped on a first-in, first-out basis.

• It can be stored in its original packaging in environments between 5 - 35 °C, away from direct sunlight. It should be protected from extreme temperature, humidity and frost.

PACKAGING

Set Total: 3.75 kg (3.0 kg A Component + 0.75 kg B Component)

Set Total: 20.0 kg (16.0 kg A Component + 4 kg B Component)

THINGS TO BE CONSIDERED

• Flash Point is below 20°C.

• Old paint layers that cannot support themselves and absorbent surfaces such as lime under the paint should be cleaned.

• The application temperature should be taken into consideration; application should be made within the temperature range of +5°C +30°C.

SAFETY ADVICE

• During application, appropriate work clothes, protective gloves, glasses and mask should be used.

• Hands and eyes should be protected with gloves and protective glasses. If the material comes into contact with the eyes, the eyes should be washed with plenty of water and a doctor should be consulted immediately.

• Food and beverage materials should not be brought into the application area.
