Underfloor Heating Styrofoam is an under-screed insulation material in underfloor heating systems and is used to fix the underfloor heating pipe to the ground.
Floor heating styrofoam ensures proper installation of floor heating pipes. Another function of underfloor heating styrofoam is thermal insulation. The purpose of underfloor heating is to warm up, but if there is no good insulation, some of the heat may escape downwards. Here the importance of thermal insulation laid under the floor becomes evident. Demaboard floor heating styrofoam is manufactured to world standards. It easily provides the necessary thermal insulation and ensures that all energy is transferred into the building.
PRODUCT TYPES
Demaboard Underfloor Heating products are diversified according to density value. Demaboard floor heating products are available from 18 density to 30 density. There are 3 types of products in our demoboard group. Demaboard X, Demaboard XL and Plus Demaboard XL.
ADVANTAGES
Saves Energy:
It is compatible with alternative energy use. If underfloor heating systems are designed for low temperature supply, all alternative energy sources can be used. The underfloor heating system can be heated with solar energy support.
The underfloor heating system heats perfectly with the heat pump and if designed well, it also provides cooling.
The underfloor heating system primarily heats the foot and sole area. Since the foot area is the area where heating is needed the most, a feeling of greater comfort is created and heating is provided with less energy consumption.
Provides Heat Conservation
Underfloor heating styrofoam provides good thermal insulation from the floor and prevents heat transfer to the lower floor.
Contributes to Sound Insulation
Underfloor heating styrofoam provides sound insulation from the floor, preventing sound transmission to the lower floor.
Saves Space
It does not cause space loss like radiators. The floor heating system is usually placed under the parquet with floor heating styrofoam to prevent loss of space. In our floor heating systems, the only heater visible in the building is the collector on the floors and the collector box embedded in the wall.
Compatible with Laminate Flooring
While wood's status as a good insulator remains valid, its effect is much more positive than before. Thanks to the insulation of wood, the surface heats up more slowly and the heat penetrates into the material more slowly. In addition, since the transmission of heat occurs over a longer period of time, all excess energy is balanced depending on the length of time the heat spreads.
Laminate flooring is a flooring material containing 100% wood. Feasibility studies for the combined use of underfloor heating systems and laminate flooring have been completed in countries such as Switzerland, and especially in 80% of houses in Switzerland, underfloor heating systems are preferred. This is because in climates with rarefied air, the air is much harder.
Rising Air Structure is Used
When air is heated, it rises. The system is the same in all heating systems. This heated air in underfloor heating first warms us, and then as it rises upwards, this temperature gradually decreases. Since it provides foot warming, it makes you feel both healthier and warmer. All heating systems heat the air by circulating it, but the least air circulation is provided by the underfloor heating system.
Underfloor Heating Systems are Long-Lasting
Underfloor heating systems are made of quality materials and have a lifespan close to the life of the building.
Underfloor Heating Systems Do Not Dry Moisture
Since the base temperature in underfloor heating systems is approximately 28C, it does not dry out the humidity in the environment and the humidity balance is maintained.
Disadvantage of Underfloor Heating Systems
The only disadvantage of underfloor heating is the long initial regime time.
Underfloor heating is not suitable for intermittent use. It must remain open continuously at low temperature.
