It is cement-based. Polymer-added, high performance, fiber-reinforced, thick aggregate plastering mortar specially prepared for thermal insulation boards.
Usage areas :
• It is used in interior and exterior spaces.
• As a surface plaster on thermal insulation boards ( EPS , XPS and stone wool ) .
Advantages :
• It is easy to apply and provides excellent structure .
• It is resistant to water and frost .
• It is not affected by temperature changes.
• It is flexible.
• Provides high stability , does not sag or jump .
• It is permeable to water vapor and allows the surface to breathe .
• Paint can be applied directly on it.
Preparation of the surface :
• The application surface and sheets are sound and clean from non - adhesive substances such as dust, oil , tar , pitch, paint, silicone, curing material , detergent and mold oils . should be .
• The boards to be used must be strong and well -fitted into place , and the gaps between them must be closed with the same thermal insulation material .
Preparation of the mortar :
• Add DEMAFİX heat plate plaster into approximately 5-6 liters of clean water and mix it preferably with a low speed mixer until there are no lumps.
• The prepared mortar is left to mature for 5 - 10 minutes and is used by mixing again for 1 - 2 minutes .
• The mixture in the container should be consumed within 2 hours .
Application Information:
• At least 24 hours after the thermal insulation board is set , a first layer of plaster with a thickness of approximately 2 mm is applied on the boards with a steel trowel.
• While the applied mortar is still wet , it is pressed from the top to the bottom with a net , stretched and embedded into the mortar . After the first layer of mesh plaster has drained slightly , the second layer of plaster ( 2 mm thick ) should be applied . After two coats of application , the net
should be completely closed.
• To prevent cracking , the net is overlapped by 10 cm at the joints .
• Mesh corner profile should be used in corners .
• It is necessary to wait 2 - 3 days for painting , depending on weather conditions and application thickness .
• After the application is completed , if the air temperature is high , the surface should be moistened until the cement sets.
Consumption :
3 - 4 kg/m 2 (Depending on the application method . )
Attention:
• Avoid application at temperatures below +5 ° C and above +35 ° C.
• Avoid application in areas that are frozen , at risk of freezing within 24 hours , or exposed to direct sun and wind . If snowfall or severe cold is expected within approximately 1 week after application until the cement sets , the application should not be made or protective measures should be taken .
• Never add water or powder to expired mortar .
• Be careful not to use sheets that have lost their properties by being exposed to the sun for a long time .
