It is a white cement-based, single-component, chemically additive, paste-like topcoat thin satin plaster that completely removes surface defects and makes the surface ready for painting.
Usage areas:
•Indoors and outdoors.
•On walls and ceilings.
•On rough plaster, fine plaster and concrete surfaces.
•To correct fine cracks on the surface.
•Used as a final coat of satin plaster before painting to obtain a smooth surface.
Advantages:
•Provides a smooth surface.
•It does not crack as it has higher adherence and durability compared to plaster and plaster-based materials.
•Since it is white in color, it can be used without painting.
•It is aesthetic and decorative and positively affects the general appearance of the building.
•Reduces paint consumption.
•Covers surface defects.
•Since it is resistant to water and moisture, it does not deteriorate when it comes into contact with water after curing.
Preparation of the Surface:
•Make sure that the application surface is cured and solid.
•The application surface must be clean from substances that prevent adhesion such as dust, oil, tar, pitch, paint, silicone, curing material, detergent and mold oils.
Mortar ( White) should be used to repair cracks and holes, depending on the depth .
•Before exposed concrete applications, the surface should be primed with BETOPRİMER Exposed Concrete Plaster Primer.
•The application surface must be moistened
Preparation of Mortar:
•25 kg DEMAFIX Satin Paste (White) is slowly added into approximately 8.0 - 10.0 liters of clean water and mixed with a low-speed mixer until there are no lumps.
•The prepared mortar is left to mature for 5 - 10 minutes and used again by mixing for 1 - 2 minutes.
•The mixture in the container should be consumed within 2 - 3 hours.
Application Information:
•The prepared mortar should be applied to the entire surface with a steel trowel in equal thickness.
•If more than one coat is to be applied, 2 - 3 hours should be waited between coats.
•Satin plaster application should not exceed 3 mm.
•The plaster that has started to harden must be smoothed by polishing it with a trowel without wasting time.
•Plaster mesh should be used to prevent cracking at the joints of different materials such as concrete and brick.
•Following the application, wait 6 - 12 hours, moisten the surface, and continue the process for 2 days.
•Paint application should be started after the surface is completely dry.
Consumption:
Approximately 1 kg/m2 ( for 1 mm thickness)
Attention:
•Avoid application at temperatures below +5°C and above +35°C.
Do not add foreign substances such as lime, cement, sand and plaster into the material .
•Pay attention to the amount of water added to the mortar. Do not add more water than necessary .
•Avoid application in areas that are frozen, at risk of freezing within 24 hours, or exposed to direct sun and wind. If snowfall or severe cold is expected within approximately 1 week after application, application should not be made or protective measures should be taken.
•Never add water or powder to expired mortar.
