It is a mortar and screed additive that provides ease of application by increasing the water impermeability and workability of cement-based plaster and floor screeds.

Areas of Use:

•In tunnels and channels,

•In water tanks,

•Interior and exterior plasters,

•Used in floor screeds.

Advantages:

•It increases water impermeability by reducing the formation of capillary gaps and water channels in mortar and plaster by entraining air.

•Increases the resistance of plaster against rain water and the freezing-thaw cycle.

•Protects the plaster against weather conditions.

•Prevents hairline cracks and bubbles.

•It reduces the water amount of the mixture due to its plasticizing effect.

•It facilitates machinability.

•Reduces the effects of segregation and efflorescence observed in additive-free mortars.

•It is economical, there is no need to use lime to increase the volume and fluidity of the plaster.

Application Information:

•Shake well before use.

•Demafix SBR is a ready-to-use mortar additive. 1 - 2% of the cement is added to the mortar mixing water.

•Can be used with all portland type cements 

Consumption:

0.5 - 1 kg (for 50 kg cement)

Attention:

•The prepared mortar should not be mixed more than necessary.

•If manual mixing methods are used, regular and as stable mixing as possible should be done in order to effectively obtain the air entrainment feature of Demafix SBR.

•Avoid application in areas that are frozen, at risk of freezing within 24 hours, or exposed to direct sun and wind.

Shelf life:

It can be stored for 12 months in its unopened package. Shake well before use. Protect against freezing.

Health and Safety:

As with all chemical products, contact with food products, skin, eyes and mouth should not be avoided during use and storage. During application, work clothes, protective gloves, glasses and masks in accordance with occupational and worker health rules should be used. If swallowed by accident, consult a doctor. In case of contact with skin, wash with plenty of water. It should be stored in places inaccessible to children.
