Used in the insulation and repair of active water leaks , hardens within 3 - 4 minutes when it reacts with water and provides high adherence .​​​ It is a polymer reinforced powder insulation material containing special type cement and chemical additives .

Preparation of the surface :​​

• The application surface must be cleaned of substances that prevent adhesion such as dust , oil , tar , pitch, paint, silicone , curing material , detergent and mold oils .
• Existing cracks and holes should be widened to a depth of 20 mm . Corners should be cut with straight edges .

Preparation of the mortar :​​

Make ready for use by mixing as much DEMAFIX SHOCK PLUG as you can consume within 3 - 4 minutes in a clean container with the water in it . The water ratio should be between 24 % and 29 % of the weight of DEMAFİX ŞOK TİKAÇ .​​​​​​​ Do not mix for more than 30 seconds .​​ The prepared mixture should have a consistency that can be kneaded without breaking into pieces .​ Pay attention to the temperature of the water , use warm or hot water in cold weather .​

Application Information:

• The prepared mortar begins to heat .​​ After it is sufficiently heated , add the mortar to the conical insert with your hand , make a hole in it with a single movement , and press it for about 2 minutes by applying force with your hand .

• DEMAFIX SHOK PLUG Remove your hand after it hardens completely .

• To repair holes that are too large to be closed at once , repeat this process several times , moving from the outside towards the center of the hole .

Caution:
• Be sure to use gloves.

• Below +5 ̊ C and above +35 ̊ C​​​​

Avoid application in hot temperatures.

·       ​​In areas that are frozen , at risk of freezing within 24 hours , or open to direct sun and wind .

• DEMAFIX ŞOK TIKAÇ is not flexible . If it is used to repair and plug dynamic (moving) cracks , cracks may occur later .

• Clean the application equipment with water immediately after application .

• After application , the product should be kept moist for approximately 15 minutes .​​​​​ On dry surfaces , this period should be approximately 30 minutes .

Shelf Life :​​

It can be stored in a moisture - free environment and in its unopened packaging for 6 months .

Health and Safety :​

As with all chemical products, contact with food products , skin , eyes and mouth should not be avoided during use and storage . During the application , work clothes , protective gloves , glasses and masks that comply with work and worker health rules should be used .​​ If swallowed by accident, seek medical advice . In case of contact with skin, wash with plenty of water .
