For cement - based , polymer - added , high - performance , flexible , high - stability , stone wool thermal insulation boards .​​​​​​​​​ It is a specially prepared adhesive mortar .​​​​​​​​​

Usage areas :​​

• In interior and exterior spaces ,
• Stone wool thermal insulation sheets on concrete , brick , aerated concrete and similar surfaces to which rough and thin plaster is applied .​​ It is used in the construction of the structure .​​​​​​​​

Advantages :​

• It is easy to apply and provides excellent structure .
​ • It is resistant to water and frost .
• It is not affected by temperature changes.

• It is flexible.
• Provides high stability , does not sag or jump .

Preparation of the surface :​​

• Care should be taken to ensure that the application surface is cured.

• The application surface must be cleaned of substances that prevent adhesion such as dust , oil , tar , pitch, paint, silicone , curing material , detergent and mold oils .
• The application surface should be wetted and kept moist .
​​​​​​​ • Defects on the application surface should be corrected with suitable repair mortars 24 hours before , depending on the surface depth and structure .

Preparation of the mortar :​​

• Add 25 kg of  DEMAFİX stone wool adhesive mortar into approximately 5,54-6,5 lt of clean water and mix it preferably with a low-speed mixer until there are no lumps.
​​​​​​​ • The prepared mortar is left to mature for 5 - 10 minutes and is used by mixing again for 1 - 2 minutes .
• The mixture in the container should be consumed within 2 hours .

Application
Information :

• Whole Surface Adhesion Method should be used in the adhesion of stone wool insulation boards .​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

• First , apply the adhesion mortar evenly over the entire stone wool board with a trowel .​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ ​Then , rake all the mortar onto the surface with a thick - toothed notched trowel .
• The carding direction should be done parallel to
the long side of the plate .

• A gauge should be used when gluing the sheets during application .
​​​​​​​• The adhered sheets should be pressed tightly to ensure a good adhesion , and after 24 hours they should be mechanically attached with dowels .​​​​​​

Consumption :
4 - 5 kg/ m2

Attention:

• Avoid application at temperatures below +5 ° C and above +35 ° C.​​​​​​​​​​

• Avoid application in areas that are frozen , at risk of freezing within 24 hours , or exposed to direct sun and wind .
• Never add water or powder to expired mortar.

• To prevent heat transfer , place the thermal insulation boards so that there are no gaps between them .
​​​​​​​​ • Before and during the bonding process , make sure that the rock wool boards are not exposed to rain or get wet .​​​​​​​​ Do not use wet sheets .
​ • The sheathing application should not be applied directly on building materials such as pumice or brick , but on rough plastered surfaces .​​
