EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) Styrofoam is a thermoplastic, closed-pore, thermal insulation material produced by inflating and gluing polystyrene particles together and consisting of 98% inert dry air.
PRODUCT TYPES
Styrofoam products are diversified according to density value. There are styrofoam products from 8 density values to 30 density values.

ADVANTAGES
Thermal insulation application made from the external wall is the healthiest application. In addition to thermal insulation, it provides an effective fight against corrosion by protecting the load-bearing elements of the building, namely concrete and iron, from atmospheric conditions.
The thermal insulation made from the exterior is uninterrupted and covers the entire building like a coat.
• Heat escapes, called thermal bridges, are negligible.
• It reduces the heating cost in winter and the cooling cost in summer.
• Coating protects all building elements from all atmospheric external factors such as rain, snow and wind, which prevents the building elements from corrosion and prolongs the life of the building.
• The water vapor permeability resistance of EPS thermal insulation boards does not prevent the building from breathing. In this way, moisture is removed from the sheathing system and the wall without condensation, and mold and moisture are not formed.
• Despite its lightness, EPS sheets have high mechanical strength, therefore the cladding system does not impose a load on the building facade, and also has sufficient resistance to the tensile forces perpendicular to the surface caused by the coatings applied on it.
• Since EPS sheets are elastic, the cladding system adapts to building movements and does not cause cracks on the building facade.
• EPS sheathing systems prevent building physics damage and are an easy and permanent application for the repair of existing damage.
• It offers high thermal insulation performance, practicality and economy.
• Thermal insulation performance does not decrease over time.
• Internal thermal insulation can be applied in special cases where external thermal insulation applications are difficult or impossible to perform. It is done by sticking the thermal insulation material to the wall or placing it in a wall-mounted construction. Since the outer shell of the building is not heated in internal thermal insulation, heating and cooling occurs more quickly than in external thermal insulation, so it is more ideal for long-term and short-term use. In internal applications; Precautions should be taken against thermal bridges and condensation analysis should be performed, and care should be taken to prevent thermal bridges as much as possible. Applications, especially in inhabited houses, are difficult due to many details such as interior radiators, plasterboard, interior windowsills and skirting boards.
In the thermal insulation application between two walls, attention should be paid to the thermal insulation sheets placed between them and their installation should be ensured without creating a thermal bridge and without a gap between the sheets. Since there is a high possibility of condensation within the section in this system, condensation analysis should be performed and attention should be paid to details.
