AREAS OF USE

• On raw plastered, new and solid surfaces; DEMA Silicone Emulsion Primer should be applied in a single layer.

• Old painted, very chalky, absorbent, weak, etc. On loosely textured surfaces, the surface should be impregnated with Dema Izo Primer to strengthen the ground.

• If it will be applied on cement-based decorative plaster used in the thermal insulation system, Dema Izo Primer must be used as a primer. 

Surface Preparation;

• The surface to be applied must be solid, dry, clean and free of loose parts.

• Dirty, dusty, swollen and old painted surfaces should be cleaned by scraping and surface defects should be corrected with Dema Acrylic Paste. 

Preparation of the Mixture;

• The product is diluted with 10-15% water.

• The product should be mixed with a medium speed mixer at 400-600 rpm until it becomes a homogeneous mixture. 

APPLICATION;

• The floor must be primed with a suitable primer beforehand. At least 24 hours after priming, it should be diluted with water by 10-15% by volume and applied in 2 layers. Depending on weather conditions, at least 6 hours should be waited between coats.

• If dark colors need to be thinned, it is recommended to thin them by a maximum of 5%.

• During application, care should be taken to ensure that the surface and ambient temperature is between 5 and 35 °C.

• Application should not be made in rainy weather. 

Consumption;

• Total theoretical consumption 0.250 kg/m2 - 0.350 kg/m2 

STORAGE CONDITIONS 

• Shelf life is 12 months.

• It should be stored in a cool and dry environment, out of direct sunlight and protected from frost.

• Pallets should not be stacked on top of each other and should be shipped on a first-in, first-out basis.

• It can be stored in its original packaging in environments between 5 - 35 °C, away from direct sunlight. It should be protected from extreme temperature, humidity and frost.

THINGS TO BE CONSIDERED

• In order to obtain the desired texture and for ease of application, use a satin roller when applying on flat surfaces such as satin plaster and putty; It is recommended to use a plastic roller when applying on plastered and highly absorbent surfaces.

• Old paint layers that cannot support themselves and absorbent surfaces such as lime under the paint should be cleaned.

• The application temperature should be taken into consideration; application should be made within the temperature range of +5°C +30°C. 

SAFETY ADVICE

• During application, appropriate work clothes, protective gloves, glasses and mask should be used.

• Hands and eyes should be protected with gloves and protective glasses. If the material comes into contact with the eyes, the eyes should be washed with plenty of water and a doctor should be consulted immediately.

• Food and beverage materials should not be brought into the application area.

IMPORTANT WARNINGS              

• The paint should be mixed well before use.

• Ambient temperature during application should be between 5-35 °C.

• After each application; The brush or roller should be cleaned with water.

• Surfaces on which Vortex Grainy Exterior Coating is applied should be protected from physical and chemical factors for 3 days.

• Paint should never be discharged into sewers and water channels.

• Application should be done as stated above.
