It is a cement and acrylic based , semi - elastic , two - component waterproofing material .​​​ To provide insulation , the two components must be mixed together .​​​​​​​​​ It is resistant to positive water pressure .​​​​

Usage areas :​​

• In interior and exterior spaces.

• In horizontal and vertical applications ,
• In wet areas such as bathrooms and kitchens.

• In the insulation of balconies and reinforced concrete roofs ( provided that it is covered).

• Used in flower bed insulation .​​​​​​​​​​​​

Preparation of the surface :​​

• Care should be taken to ensure that the application surface is cured.

• The application surface must be cleaned of substances that prevent adhesion such as dust , oil , tar , pitch, paint, silicone , curing material , detergent and mold oils .

• The application surface must be saturated with water and kept moist during application.

• Vertical corners must be chamfered appropriately.​​​​

Preparation of the Mortar :

• 5.4 kg of component B is placed in a clean plastic container.
• The mixture in the container should be consumed within 30 minutes and the sauté mixture should not be used after this period .​​

Application Information:

• DEMAFIX DOUBLE COMPONENT SEMI -ELASTIC WATERPROOFING MATERIAL is applied to the surface in at least two layers, perpendicular to each other . After applying the first coat, wait at least 5 - 6 hours at +20 ° C , this period should not exceed 24 hours . The second coat should be applied before the first coat is completely dry . If the first coat is dry , the surface should be slightly moistened again before applying the second coat . ‹ After the second coat is applied , the surface should be protected against the sun and rapid drying for 3 days .​

• It is recommended to use Waterproofing Mesh between two layers during application .​​ The use of net increases the carrying properties of the product .​​​​​​​​​​​​​

•The product gains mechanical strength after 3 days and becomes water impermeable after 7 days . It
gains its final strength after 14 days .​​ • It should be protected against punctures and impacts until it is coated .

Consumption :​

1 - 1.50 kg/m2 is applied on each layer and 1 mm thickness is obtained . It should be applied in at least two coats (2 - 3 kg/m2 ) It is recommended to apply three layers in places where high protection is required ( 3 - 4.5 kg / m2).

Attention:

• Avoid application at temperatures below +5 ̊ C and above +35 ̊ C.​​​​​​​​​​

• Avoid application in areas that are frozen , at risk of freezing within 24 hours , or exposed to direct sun and wind .

• Do not add external water to the mixture .
• The powder component should always be added to the liquid component .

• During application , the flat film thickness should not exceed 2 mm for a single layer .​​​​​​

Shelf Life :​​

pallet in a 10-layer stack in moisture-free environments for 12 months. Shake the liquid component before use and protect against freezing .​​​​​​​​

Health and Safety :​

As with all chemical products, contact with food products , skin , eyes and mouth should not be avoided during use and storage . During the application , work clothes , protective gloves , glasses and masks that comply with work and worker health rules should be used .​​ If swallowed by accident, seek medical advice . In case of contact with skin, wash with plenty of water . It should be stored in places where children cannot reach it .
